GLAcial Sedimentation School

The primary goals of the GLAcial Sedimentation School (GLASS) are to train early career scientists to:

• Document and interpret lithological, chemical, biotic, and physical properties of polar marine sediment cores
• Understand how to interpret lithostratigraphy,
  chronostratigraphy, and depositional environments in the
  context of ice, climate, and source-to-sink processes and rates of
  processes
• Understand the response of the Polar Regions to warming
  climates
